Discount Capital’s Research & Analysis team supplies the in-house knowledge base and analytical infrastructure that underpin all of the firm's operations. Playing a pivotal role in each Investment and Investment Banking assignment, as well as in the active management of the Investments portfolio, the team consistently incorporates in-depth analytical capabilities with the utmost professionalism – a cornerstone of Discount Capital's commitment to its clients and partners.
Staffed by professionals from diverse disciplines, the Research & Analysis team is able to draw on a broad pool of expertise, encompassing fields such as strategy, financial consulting, accounting, and corporate finance. This distinctive multidisciplinary approach enables Discount Capital to bring outstanding product and sector expertise to its clients, while also generating creative and insightful dialogue from multiple perspectives.
Research & Analysis Team
Ori joined Discount Capital in 2015 and serves as the firm’s Head of Investment Research & Analysis. In this role, Ori leads the team that provides the analytical infrastructure for all the investments operations and investment banking projects carried out by Discount Capital.
Prior to joining Discount Capital, Ori held managerial positions at Rotem Strategy and Giza Singer Even, where he was involved in a wide scope of financial and strategic consulting projects for some of Israel's leading corporations.
Ori holds a BA in Economics & Business Administration (summa cum laude) and an MBA (cum laude), both from Tel Aviv University.
He is currently a board member of Ginegar Plastic Products (TASE: GNGR).
Adi joined Discount Capital in 2021 and serves as a Senior Associate for the Investment Research & Analysis team, supporting the firm’s investment and investment banking operations. In her role, Adi focuses on equity analysis, financial analysis, valuation and economic due diligence, mainly in the technology sector.
Prior to joining Discount Capital, Adi was a Manager at KPMG’s Deal Advisory, where she led due diligence teams, advised buyers and sellers through different deal stages and advised investors with regards to potential investments both in VC and PE funds or in a direct equity investment, with a focus on the tech field.
Adi holds an M.Sc. degree, majoring in Accounting and Finance from Tel-Aviv University.
Barak joined Discount Capital in 2021 and serves as an Analyst in the Investment Research & Analysis team, supporting the firm’s investment and investment banking operations. In this role, Barak focuses on equity analysis, financial analysis, valuation and due diligence processes.
Prior to joining Discount Capital, Barak served as a Game Economy Manager at Playtika and as an FP&A Analyst at The Coca-Cola Company, where he assisted in developing the company's future sales and costs, and advised company management with financial analysis on high-value projects.
Barak holds an M.A. in Financial Economics and a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (Cum Laude) from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Omer joined Discount Capital in 2022 and serves as an Analyst for the Investment Research & Analysis team, supporting the firm’s investment and investment banking operations. In this role, Omer focuses on equity analysis, financial analysis, valuation and economic due diligence, mainly in the technology sector.
Prior to joining Discount Capital, Omer was a Business Development & Analyst at BuiltUp Ventures’s, Investment Team, where he led the deal flow operations and the due diligence team. Omer assisted the fund's portfolio companies in their go-to-market efforts and strategies.
Previously, Omer worked as a Business Development as part of the commercial team at Percepto – Autonomous Drones where he was involved in various commercial projects.
Omer B.A in Business Administration and a Minor in Entrepreneurial Management from Reichman University – The Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya.
Yogev joined Discount Capital in 2022 and serves as an Associate in the Investment, Research & Analysis team, supporting the firm’s investment and investment banking operations. In this role, Yogev focuses on equity and debt analysis, financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence processes, in both the technology and the traditional sectors.
Prior to joining Discount Capital, Yogev was a Senior Consulant at EY in their Strategy and Transactions team where he was involved in financial due diligence, financial modeling, corporate finance, and business strategy for companies in multiple countries and sectors. Previously, Yogev worked as a Tax Intern at KPMG and as a Tax Intern at Goldfarb Seligman where he was involved in ongoing tax counsel.
Yogev is a CPA and Adv., and holds a B.A. in Accounting (Summa Cum Laude), LLB in Law (Cum Laude), and M.B.A. (Cum Laude), all from Tel Aviv University.
Vlada joined Discount Capital in 2022 and serves as an Associate in the Investment, Research & Analysis team, supporting the firm’s investment and investment banking operations. In this role, Vlada focuses on equity analysis, financial analysis, valuation and due diligence processes.
Prior to joining Discount Capital, Vlada was a Manager at EY in their Strategy and Transactions team where she was involved in a wide scope of financial and strategic consulting projects, including Transaction Diligence, Value Creation, Commercial Due Diligence, PMI, and M&A.
Vlada is a CPA and holds a B.A. in Accounting and Geography from Tel Aviv University.
Itamar joined Discount Capital in 2022 and serves as an Analyst in the Investment, Research & Analysis team, supporting the firm’s investment and investment banking operations. In this role, Itamar focuses on equity analysis, financial analysis, valuation and due diligence processes.
Prior to joining Discount Capital, Itamar served as a strategy consultant at KPMG where he assisted organizations improve their performance and achieve their goals by utilizing market research, data analysis, benchmarking, and modeling.
Itamar holds a B.A. in Economics and psychology (Magna Cum Laude) from Tel Aviv University.
Sabina joined Discount Capital in 2001, and serves as the firm's only bookkeeper.
Sabina deals with bookkeeping up to balance sheet level, and with institutional reporting, production and online broadcast reporting. She also has purchasing and management responsibilities, such as computer equipment, communications and mobile phones, and the Company's vehicle fleet.
Sabina holds a Sug 3 bookkeepers certification from the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor.
Keren joined Discount Capital in 2020 and serves as an Executive Assistant to the CEO.
Prior to joining Discount Capital, Keren worked as an Executive Assistant to the CEO of IDB Group. Previously, Keren worked at Pelephone for 17 years as an Executive Assistant to the CEO.
Keren holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics & Business Administration with honors from the Open University in Ramat Gan.
